  Hello!
Thank you for visiting my blog. I feel so blessed to have you as a reader.
My name is Liz, I am a mother of 5 beautiful children, and married to my best friend Chad. I am most definitely a child of God; who is the center of our home, marriage and family.
I started this blog to take readers through our homeschooling journey and help spread the word on how to save big when homeschooling.
Before my husband and I decided to homeschool we had one of our sons enrolled in a local elementary school but decided against it before he started.
My sister is a homeschooling mom and throughout the years I have talked with her about why she homeschools, what keeps her going, how my niece and nephews are benefiting through homeschooling, and so much more. I have also watched her passion for homeschooling.
Last year, my husband and I learned some things about the public school system that finally made us decide to start homeschooling. This is our second year homeschooling! We have one of our sons (6) and our daughter (4) in homeschool this year. I'm so excited to continue this journey with them.
Without the help of my sister I wouldn't have been able to do any of this, nor would I have thought to homeschool last year! My sister sent me some links to different online curriculum for free. I checked out those plus probably 20 more. Most of them weren't free. I found a curriculum that both my husband and I like.
After finding our curriculum, I told my mom about our decision to homeschool. She brought us boxes of office supplies that she knew we would need. I couldn't believe how everything was falling into place!
Last year our son was so excited to start homeschooling that every time I was in the homeschooling room getting stuff set up for our year, he came in and asked me to "school" him. He makes me laugh.
My main purpose of this blog is to help other mom's (or dad's) save money on homeschooling. I will also post on how to save around the house and in every day life. I don't like paying full price on most things, because I feel that a lot of things are over priced. If I can find it and get it for free--- That's the BEST! If I can get it for a great deal then I'm one happy momma! And, because I like to save money, I thought I would share with people how they can save money too.
My second purpose of this blog is to take you through our homeschooling journey. Successes, failures, learning, mistakes, fun times, and bad.
I hope my blog inspires and blesses you.
